Wear the wristband
Your child wears a wristband with an NFC chip. It only holds a personal link – no names, no phone numbers.

Hold a phone to it
If someone finds your child in an emergency, they hold their smartphone to the wristband. The emergency page opens right away in the browser – no app needed.

Help and call
The helper sees whom to call and reaches you with a single tap. If they like, they can text you their location.
What SOS-Band offers
Free
SOS-Band is a private, non-commercial project. It costs nothing – no fees, no subscription, no ads.
No app
Helpers only need a smartphone with NFC. The emergency page is an ordinary web page and works on iPhone and Android.
In 8 languages
The emergency page automatically appears in the helper’s language (Deutsch, English, Español, Italiano, Ελληνικά, Hrvatski, Français, Polski) – handy on holiday.
Key facts for first aiders
Besides name and age, you can add blood type, allergies and medication. Only what you enter is shown.
Location by text message
With one tap the helper can text you their location. The message goes straight from their phone to you – the location never reaches our server.
Always up to date
New phone number, new allergy? You update the details online and keep the same wristband. If a wristband gets lost, you create a new link and the old one stops working.
For the whole family
Several children, several contacts, several managers: invite the other parent, for example, so you can keep the details up to date together.
Emergency number included
The emergency number 112 is always listed among your contacts – so no time is lost when it matters.
Your data
The wristband itself stores nothing personal, just a random link that can’t be guessed. Search engines don’t index the emergency page. You decide what appears there in your family settings – and only members of your family can change it.
